The Peta's Piano Team
Founder of Peta's Piano, Peta is a professional accompanist, singer-songwriter and producer based in Sydney NSW, Australia. Originally classically trained, with A.Mus.A. in Piano Performance (AMEB) and 7th grade French horn under her belt, she also has a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Hearing & Speech) degree from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Diploma of Music (Composition & Production) from the Australian Institute of Music.
She has played piano in a wide range of contexts and genres, including for the Sydney Philharmonia Choirs, the NSW DEC Arts Unit, many amateur musical theatre productions, for a large number of professional and amateur soloists (vocal and other instrumental), various bands, and of course accompanying herself as a performing singer-songwriter. She also dabbles in guitar, trombone, theramin and other assorted instruments.
Peta is passionate about helping others find joy in music and empowering them to take full ownership of their own musical journey. She created Peta's Piano to do just that.
A seasoned music producer and sound-recordist, Craig is currently assisting with the recording and production of some of our violin repertoire, bringing a world-class level of sophistication and brilliance to our piano accompaniment and violin recordings. Craig owns and operates the state-of-the-art Underwood Studio in Australia's beautiful Blue Mountains. Craig started work at The Pavilion Studios in Bondi in 2001 and worked there for 8 years gaining invaluable experience. Relocating to the mountains he built Underwood Studio in 2011. Since then the studio has grown, acquiring a genuine focus on pursuing excellence in both classical and jazz recordings, and high fidelity transparency in all sound recording, mixing and mastering.
